Abu Dhabi’s entrepreneurial ecosystem is experiencing a rapid surge in youth-led businesses, with a remarkable 97.8% increase in registrations between 2023 and 2024. The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry reports that over 21,240 members between the ages of 18 and 35 are now affiliated with the organization, collectively holding a registered capital of more than Dh14.9 billion. Driving Forces Behind the Growth

The ventures are diverse, with trade activities leading the way, followed by construction, administrative services, and hospitality. This growth aligns with the UAE’s broader vision to diversify its economy beyond oil and empower its youth to become major contributors to the non-oil sector.
